June 23rd – Introduction to Wikis (10:00 -12:00)

  2. Finish any wiki elements you did not finish in class
  3. Read Chapter 8 from Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts
  4. Prepare script for podcast assignment (please note - this assignment is designed to help you begin crafting your final paper for EDU 581, Becky will also be giving you feedback about the content as it relates to your work on this final paper
- we hope that the work you do in preparing the script will be useful as your write the final paper)
  1. Using course readings and discussion please prepare a script for a podcast that answers the following question. What are three things you can commit to doing in your practice as an educator that will effect positive change in your school climate?
  2. Suggestions
    1. Around 500-750 words (will be 1 to 2 minutes in length)
    2. Reference discussions and reading
    3. Make it about action (not just opinion)
    4. Be creative in how you format/write
    5. You will be posting your script to your wiki
